5-12-10 Irina Strumila has joined CVC Thermoset Specialties as QC/QA Manager. Strumila will be responsible for laboratory management, development of analytical methods, implementation and maintenance of quality systems (ISO 9001-2000) and support of R&D and operations. In addition, she will work with asset teams and corporate functions to improve quality assurance and quality control, technical support and consistency in manufacturing, including driving innovative growth via new products and product rationalization.
Strumila most recently served as a lead supporting scientist for R&D and Manufacturing Plants at Abbott Laboratories. Prior to this, she served as a scientist for Cardinal Health and biochemical company Abraxis BioScience. Her career has included directing and providing laboratory quality assurance and quality control in FDA regulated environments under cGMP requirements, as well as technical support to ensure compliance.
Strumila holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Lviv University in Ukraine.
